Create your own optical illusion by following along with the video, pausing when needed. Pay special attention to making soft transitions with blending. The printout for this exercise can be found here and additional letters to try out can be found at the bottom of this page.

Hints and tips:

  • Use a 2B pencil.
  • The finished optical illusion for “f” works best when tilted to the right at a 20-degree angle (test other angles for other letters).
  • Make sure you cut according to the template.
